New Years 2011

Bringing 2010 to a close meant glittering pyramids, cultural celebrations, and goofy outfits!!!  Let 2011 bring much of the same for all!!!

Happy New Year!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!   It's 2011 in Cairo Egypt!!!!!   Our best wishes
to all our Family, Friends, and Colleagues who will be celebrating a
mere few hours from now!!! I have to admit we will miss the Annual
Philadelphia Mummers Parade, however,  Live Belly Dancing is a GREAT
alternative!!!!

Day 1 (12-31-10)

Good afternoon (well early morning for my friends in USA). Both flights went very well today from Phila to JFK, then JFK to Cairo. When I say went very well, that doesn't include the fact that both Dave and I's checked luggage got lost. Leave it to Philadelphia International to cause some travel discomfort.            Well enough of travel woes.        We arrived in Cairo with the temperature being 18 Celsius, a nice 65 degrees!   The Hotel is an amazing place called The Intercontinental City Stars!!!   Rooms with a patio and a walkway directly to the pool, fitness center, aptly located inside a large pyramid. (Photos to follow).     Tonight is New Years Eve, and our gracious tour from The Future University in Egypt, set up a party at our hotel. We will be celebrating 7 hours ahead of most of you, but be safe, happy and healthy tonight!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!!
